2nd Virtus (formerly INAS-FID) Indoor Rowing World Championships
Date: December 1-5, 2010
Location: Figueira Da Foz, Portugal
Venue: Figueira da Foz Sports Hall (All events will take place using indoor rowing machines or ergometers)
Organized By: ANDDI (Portuguese Sports Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability) and INAS ( International Federation for Athletes with Intellectual Disability)
US Team Selection: Athletes Without Limits will be selecting and managing the US team and will make travel arrangements to this event depending on athlete interest.
Eligibility: Athletes must meet three criteria as demonstrated through an application process: 1) IQ at or below 75, 2) Significant limitations in Adaptive Behavior, and 3) age of disability onset prior to 18. Interested athletes should contact us  immediately and begin the INAS eligibility application process, which can take 2-6 months to complete as all athletes must complete the application before September 1, 2010 in order to participate in this event.

Departure of Delegations
Travel: Pending athlete interest, Athletes Without Limits will assist athletes in organizing group travel from the Baltimore/Washington, DC area to the Lisbon Airport. Some financial assistance may be available, but athletes and accompanying parents/guardians should be prepared to cover flight and registration expenses.
Registration/Room & Board: The event registration fee of 80 Euros/day (@ $105/day*) for four nights plus a total tax of 10 Euros (@ $15*) covers shuttle service to/from Lisbon Airport to the venue; all food and lodging in the event hotel (double occupancy); and the event entry fee for athletes. Depending on the size of the delegation and athlete needs, accompanying parents/guardians may be able to stay in same hotel.
