The Huntsman Cup is the first Para ski event of its kind in the U.S. to welcome high-performance skiers with intellectual impairments

The 37th Huntsman Cup takes place February 3-6 at Park City Mountain near Salt Lake City.  This important event has helped adaptive athletes with physical and visual impairments prepare for future Paralympic Games for the past 36 years.

Athletes Without Limits is proud to have partnered with the National Ability Center (NAC) to be the first of its kind in the US to also include high-performance skiers with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome and autism. Nine members of Athletes Without Limits 2025 National Ski Team are set to compete. You can listen to a live interview with National Ability Center Chief Programming and Education Officer Tracy Meier on the KPCW Park City feature article post on their website.

The event is sanctioned by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) and this year is also sanctioned by Virtus, the global governing organization for elite athletes with intellectual disabilities. Athletes Without Limits has been the US Member of Virtus since 2009 helping to create opportunities for athletes to compete at the highest level in 13+ sports.
