2015 Fred Lamback US Paralympic Swim Meet (Georgia)

Hosted by Aiken-Augusta Swim League; Sanctioned by US Paralympic Swimming

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers with a physical impairment, visual impairment, or intellectual impairment. This is an open/developmental meet with no time standards. Athletes with intellectual impairment (S-14 class) should contact Athletes Without Limits and apply for provisional/national level eligibility review to participate.

Registration Deadline
: TBA (Late entry fee is $125 instead of $75 after this date)

Registration: Athlete who have met Athletes Without Limits eligibility requirements for intellectual impairment should register directly with the event organizers. If an athlete with intellectual impairment would like to swim (and be coached by) the Athletes Without Limits / Nautical Milers affiliate team based in Atlanta, GA, contact Coach Pat Thoreson.

Important note regarding classification appointments for athletes with intellectual disability: When registering for Paralympic Swim events there is an option to “Request a Classification Appointment” before the meet. New (s14) athletes with intellectual impairment do not need to request this appointment since national eligibility is a review of documents rather than the physical exam used for athletes with physical disabilities
