2017 U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships & Para-Taekwondo

ANNOUNCED DECEMBER 19:Â USA Taekwondo is excited to confirm Para-Taekwondo G-1 Event status for the 2017 U.S. Open!
“USA Taekwondo is working to provide athletes of all ability levels the opportunity to compete and enjoy the whole life benefits that an association with the sport provides, and is excited to extend those opportunities to athletes with intellectual disabilities to take part in para-taekwondo events.”
The 2017 U.S. Open includes a P20 class for para athletes with intellectual disability sanctioned by the World Taekwondo Federation (and Inas). In addition to registering for the event, US athletes should apply for provisional level eligibility through Athletes Without Limits (the US Inas Member).
