(CANCELLED DUE TO COVID) 2021 Virtus Table Tennis World Championships (Thailand)

May 2021 Update: This event has been cancelled by Virtus and the event organizers due to ongoing coronavirus challenges.
The 2021 Virtus Table Tennis World Championships have been re-scheduled to take place from 24-30 September 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand. The event is open to athletes with Virtus International Level eligibility any of the three Virtus Competition Groups:
- Virtus II1-Intellectual Disability/USATT & ITTF Class 11 (IQ of 75 or lower)
- Virtus II2-Intellectual Disability with Significant Additional Impairment (including Tri21/Translocation Down Syndrome) and
- Virtus II3 Athletes with autism who do not meet the IQ or Adaptive Criteria for II1 Intellectual Disability.

Athletes Without Limits recruits and organizes US Teams and Trips to compete at Virtus World Championships based on athlete interest, ability to qualify, and trip viability. We’ll post additional details specific to US athletes as we learn more from the Virtus hosts while monitoring Covid-19 nationally and worldwide closer to the event.
