The information below is specifically for athletes with Intellectual Impairments:
US athletes with intellectual Impairments including Autism, Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability who have not done so already should apply for Virtus eligibility through Athletes Without Limits by clicking the button below. A National review typically takes between 3-6 weeks (or longer depending on the information available or if additional assessments are needed) so please apply as early as possible : )

Athletes Without Limits National Team Qualifier!
For athletes with intellectual impairments, this event will be a qualifier for the Athletes Without Limits National Team traveling to the 2026 Virtus Americas Regional Championships in Peru.
This includes competitors in all three Virtus Groups Below:
- Virtus II-1 Intellectual Disability (ID) and Autism with ID (IQ 75 or lower)
- Virtus II-2 Down Syndrome with ID
- Virtus II-3 Autism without ID (‘high functioning autism’)
